Notre Dame du Baudin
Diocese of Saint Claude
Franche-Comptι, Department of
the Jura, Baudin
October 1, 1854 - 1862
In 1853
the owner of the foundry was Edmund Monnier,
a near relative of Madame Grιa had a
beautiful Gothic-style chapel built in 1853.
The consecration of this chapel took place
on October 1, 1854, and it was placed under
the protection of our Blessed Mother in the
mystery of her Immaculate Conception. Adrian
would say that his religious vocation to
restore the Order of Canons Regular in
France could be traced to that day.
